ClearLook Lighted Ear Curettes offer healthcare providers a safe, effective solution for cerumen removal, with built-in illumination and magnification for visibility and control.

Designed with a specialized handle for a secure grip, ClearLook Lighted Ear Curettes provide an unobstructed view of the ear canal. ClearLook is available in five tip styles: FlexLoop®, VersaLoop®, AngleLoop®, MicroLoop® and InfantScoop® for diverse cerumen conditions.

Indications

The intended use of ClearLook Lighted Ear Curette is to remove cerumen and/or foreign bodies from and illuminate a patient’s ear canal without causing injury.

Contraindications

There are no absolute contraindications for cerumen removal.

  • What is the tip size on each currette?

  • How do I order this product?

  • Are the curettes sterile?

    The ClearLook Lighted Ear Curettes are not sterile as the procedure which they are used for does not require sterilization. 

  • Is there a CPT code for a cerumen removal procedure?

    We recommend that you use CPT code 69210 for potential reimbursement. ClearLook Lighted Ear Curettes can also be used for foreign body removal, which can be submitted under CPT code 69200 for potential reimbursement.

  • What is the purpose of the reference markers toward the tip of the curette?

    The reference markers, or rings, on the end of the curette can be used to ensure accurate re-entry into the ear canal. 

  • Is there clinical education available for ClearLook Lighted Ear Curettes?

    Yes, there is clinical education available for the ClearLook Lighted Ear Curettes when used with the OneLight Rechargeable Light Source. In order to get access to the training, you must register your Rechargeable Light Source.
